QCAT Begins 2 December 2009

The Small Claims Tribunal is now defunct as the new Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) begins today.

The Tribunal will be the jurisdiction where minor civil disputes, including tenancy matters, will be heard.

People are encouraged to visit www.qcat.qld.gov.au to download the forms and fact sheets relating to the new Tribunal or phone 1300 QLD CAT (1300 753 228).
